Peter Warns - President
Mr. Warns has been a recruiter since 1970 when he was employed
by EDP-World. He founded DataFinders in May 1975 and has been responsible
for the placement of a significant number of hi-level sales and sales management
talent throughout the computer industry.
At 23 years old, he learned very early in
his young adult life that he was
very fortunate to find such a great business that he was both good at
and very well suited for. He started placing sales people in the NY tri-state
area at copier and business machine companies and then went on to place
computer sales people.
In the 1970's, he spent a great deal of his
time servicing the computer leasing business and developed many long-term
relationships that still remain today.
Mr. Warns has built DataFinders and his own background
on strong personal and business relationships. He prides himself in
having helped change many people's lives, much for the better. He realized
many years ago the importance of trust & honesty. "This
is a reference business and without good references and a creditable reputation,
you will not stay in business." This is the philosophy that he has passed
on to all the recruiters at DataFinders. Mr. Warns places high-level
sales and sales management candidates and works today on mostly hot new
start-ups that will become the future of our industry. He also maintains
an ongoing personal relationship with all the employees at DataFinders.
It is well known that his door is always open and he always makes himself
available to help anyone who needs it
Thomas J. Credidio - Vice President
Mr. Credidio was in the computer industry from 1969-1979 selling computer
hardware/software for Harris Corporation (where he was the New York Branch
Manager) and Datapoint Corporation (where he was the Eastern Regional
Sales Manager.) His successes included the sales of a number of major
national accounts headquartered in the NY Metropolitan Area.
In 1979, with DataFinders (DFG) having a strong presence in the NY area,
he began his recruiting career by expanding DFG's coverage up and down
the east coast, and hiring, training and managing new recruiters to maintain
DFG's presence in these areas as the expansion continued. The concept
of territorial/account assignments nationwide for the recruiting of computer
personnel was unheard of at that time, but is currently being used in
a number of successful recruiting firms today as a result. He personally
has trained some of the top IT recruiters in the industry today, and
his training methods are currently being used by a number of successful
search firms.
Based on his contributions to DFG's expansions,
he was promoted to VP in 1986. His current role is one of a "General Manager," assuring the continued growth
of DFG in a number of new areas: Information Systems and "temporary" staffing;
in addition to its main strength since its inception in 1975: Nationwide
Sales and Technical Sales Support.
Ruth Goldstein - Director, Technical
Sales Support Division
Ms. Goldstein joined DFG in 1991 after
six successful years of recruiting
for the Executive Registry. While there, she managed a Retail Division
which handled placements in managerial positions at the store level.
When she joined DFG, she initially worked with pre/post sales support
personnel in the NY Metropolitan area, sometimes branching out into
other territories. Eventually she built a staff of recruiters to support
these other geographic areas. She currently manages the Technical Sales
Support Division, while still supporting the Metropolitan pre-sales
area herself. The division's area of specialization is in systems,
operations & applications,
both front and back office.
